Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: August 11, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to the MetiVis Services. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings in the Terms of Use.

Use MetiVis for lawful learning and related product participation. Do not use it to harm people, systems, or rights.

You may not use MetiVis to:

Break the law or facilitate serious wrongdoing

  • commit, plan, promote, or meaningfully facilitate unlawful activity;
  • evade lawful restrictions, sanctions, or access controls;
  • obtain or distribute material you know you have no legal right to possess or disclose.

Attack systems or accounts

  • introduce malware or malicious code;
  • phish for credentials or secrets;
  • attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, or data;
  • conduct denial-of-service activity;
  • bypass rate limits, authentication, paywalls, or technical safeguards without authorization;
  • automate abusive scraping or requests that materially interfere with the Services.

Violate privacy or confidentiality

  • submit another person's sensitive/private information without a legitimate basis or permission;
  • dox, stalk, harass, or facilitate invasive surveillance of another person;
  • submit credentials, government identifiers, financial-account secrets, or other highly sensitive data when the learning task does not require them;
  • disclose confidential school, employer, client, or institutional material when you are not authorized to do so.

Infringe intellectual-property or other rights

  • knowingly submit or distribute material in violation of copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • use MetiVis to remove rights-management information or systematically evade lawful access restrictions.

Misrepresent academic work

  • use MetiVis to cheat where AI/outside assistance is prohibited;
  • impersonate a student or other person;
  • falsify attendance, required participation, authorship, laboratory work, research results, citations, sources, or evidence;
  • bypass proctoring or assessment-security controls.

MetiVis can be used to understand material, practice, repair gaps, and receive permitted assistance. You remain responsible for following the rules that govern the specific assignment or assessment.

Abuse people or the service

  • threaten, harass, or exploit others;
  • impersonate MetiVis personnel or misrepresent your affiliation with MetiVis;
  • use the Services to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
  • create accounts or submissions at abusive scale;
  • manipulate the Beta, feedback, waitlist, referrals, or metrics through fraud or automation.

Treat Beta output as authorized high-stakes professional judgment

Do not use MetiVis as the sole basis for medical diagnosis/treatment, legal representation, financial transactions, safety-critical engineering decisions, or other decisions where qualified professional review is required.

Enforcement

MetiVis may investigate suspected violations and may limit, suspend, or terminate access, preserve relevant evidence, or make disclosures when reasonably necessary to protect users, the Services, rights, or comply with law.

We may consider context, severity, intent, repetition, and the risk of harm when deciding how to respond.
